YMC BioPro HIC HT is a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) column with butyl (C4) stationary phase bonded to hydrophilic polymer resin. YMC BioPro HIC HT is suitable for analysis of biopharmaceuticals such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADC’s) and drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR).

The competitor A column having high hydrophobicity did not elute peak #5 completely with the mobile phase containing less than 15% 2-propanol. The competitor B column eluted all peaks with the 10% 2-propanol mobile phase condition, but it showed poor separation between peaks #4 and #5. On the other hand, BioPro HIC HT eluted all peaks completely with good separation and another peak was partially separated on the peak #3. Additionally, it is noteworthy that the same DAR values were observed at both mobile phases.
