With its very low hydrophobicity among reversed-phase packing materials, YMC-Pack TMS has lower retention due to hydrophobic interaction. The analysis time of highly hydrophobic compounds such as soy isoflavones can be shorten. In addition, sometimes it can achieve higher retention and better separation for hydrophilic compounds compared to other reversed-phase columns.
