YMC*GEL is a high density and high strength silica based packing material with various functional groups. The particle size ranges from 3 μm up to 150 μm for open column chromatography. They are suitable for long term repacking into dynamic axial compression (DAC) column due to their excellent mechanical stability.

Only the pressure of YMC*GEL HG remains constant after 10 repacking cycles due to its high mechanical stability. The SEM images also show that YMC*GEL HG remains relatively intact after 13th repacking.
